| Palomino Ridge 2004 White Zinfandel California Tasting Notes: A perennial favorite. An easily approachable, refreshing wine perfect for the warm weather. Clear, bright pink in color with pleasant aromas of strawberries, raspberries, peaches, melon and citrus. Rich and fruity with a crisp, clean off-dry finish. Food Pairing: Excellent with light summer salads, afternoon Barbeques or as an aperitif. About the Winery: Palomino Ridge wines are a statement of quality, character and value. Our commitment is to create premium wines that reflect traditional winemaking methods and embody the elegant style of the Palomino. These wines are made exclusively for Signature Wines by several seasoned winemakers, from grapes sourced throughout the prime grape-growing regions of California. The vineyards are nestled between the Sacramento River Delta and the Sierra Nevada foothills. The gnarled old vines you pass along the road to the vineyards speak to the history of the region. This area has an unusual climate influenced by cooling breezes off the Sacramento Delta and is fed by two rivers that deposit sandy loam soils-rich in minerals- which give the grapes unique flavors. The combination of warm days and cool nights during ripening provides the grapes with just the right amount of acidity. Our vintners are then able to create the unique blends of Palomino Ridge. |
